The District Band Solo and Ensemble Festival is Tuesday, March 16. Band students who have been invited should plan to attend at Orion Junior High School. Specific times have been assigned and are posted on Mr. Hansen’s office door. Please remember to show up a few minutes early to warm up (warm ups will be in the library). Students should be dressed in concert dress. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend this event as well. I will see everyone there. Good luck!

Hi, students and parents. If you are absent and it is an excused absence, you may make up lost participation credit for the day by filling out the worksheet I have created. The link is in the Class Handouts tab on the top of this screen. Print the sheet, fill it out, and turn it in to me. I hope this helps. Have a great day. The Spartan Band will be going on tour to the elementary schools on November 19th and 20th. Students, please remember to wear concert dress on these two dates. Also, we will be stopping for lunch on the 19th at Wendy’s, so bring a few dollars to order some food there or plan to bring a sack lunch with you. Parents who would like to volunteer to help with the tour may contact Mr. Hansen: This should be a lot of fun! Thanks everyone for your hard work. Mr. Hansen District Honor Band Auditions are scheduled for 6:00 PM November 5th at South Ogden Junior High. Students should be prepared to play the music below, as well as your G, C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab, and Db Major Scales. Extra credit will be awarded to students who audition and make it into the District Honor Band. It is a very unique and exciting experience.
